Nightcore on iTunes...Ugh...
So, I was recently browsing the iTunes store, and decided to type "nightcore" in the search box out of curiosity, and I actually got some results. However, I wasn't too pleased with what I heard. Let's just say that a lot of the nightcores on iTunes wouldn't be allowed on this forum. The p...

Re: New members leaving
If we were able to come up with some sort of great compromise that would satisfy both parties, I'm sure that everyone would be okay with it. However, that would most likely be very difficult. The views of both generations conflict with each other so greatly. On one side, you have the newer members w...

Re: Urban Dicktionary
Little did people knew that, already at this point, nightcore as a sub-sulture was doomed. There's a widespread internet phenomenon which forces people to auto-categorize genres they haven't heard with names of their own making. Hence could you and can you still find Jumpstyle tracks labeled as Har...

Re: The closed orphanage
I like the idea being discussed in here as well. I feel that trying to exterminate every fake nightcore video on this site, warning/punishing the uploaders who do this, and labeling them as "ignorant" isn't the answer. With a speed edit/dubcore/whatever subforum, people who make fake night...

its not about finding the latest and greatest but just music you enjoy personally, nothing wrong with asking our community, we all have different taste in music +1 There are people, and possibly nightcore uploaders, who prefer the older hits and could care less about the newest hands up tracks. I p...

Re: Which years or decades have the best music for nightcori
This is just my opinion. You can disagree with it or take it with a grain of salt if you want. Funkytown sounds more like rock than electronic. Just because there's a synth doesn't mean it's techno. No Parking sounds more like funk or R&B and "nightcores" of funk and R&B songs are ...

Re: Which years or decades have the best music for nightcori
Hmmm...interesting question. I would say that the 1990s and 2000s yield the highest chance of finding nightcorable music. I think that was when happy hardcore, techno, and trance was in its heyday. The 70s might be too far back. I don't think any of the required genres existed back then. The 80s cou...

Re: What are your thoughts on modified Honda Civics?
We get them in my state as well. Most of the Civics I've seen suck. People like to dump ridiculous amounts of money into them, and often buy things that do not help the car's performance whatsoever. You could buy a sports car with decent performance with the money put into modifying Civics. I hope t...

youtube for epic fail, it's darn funny, millions of views, yes it's kind of disrepectful, but if you gonna cry every time someone dies, life would be quite sad When I was in my senior year of high school, my English teacher gave my class a lecture on something similar to this. Re: Are CD's a good source to find music to nightcore?
In my experience, CD's are kinda iffy. I've seen many CD's claiming to be techno or dance, but they have pop and house songs on them. However, CD's do have the potential to have appropriate music for nightcoring on them. The best advice I can give you is to listen (and maybe even double-listen) to s...

Zurd is right, Fernandez. Country or language doesn't matter, just whether or not it's techno or dance.
So yes, if you find, say, a techno song from Sudan that's in Arabic, you're free to nightcore it.

Sorry for the necropost, but I stumbled upon this thread after randomly browsing the forums. What does the original Nightcore group think of speed edits?
Just thought I'd ask if the original Nightcore group has an official statement regarding non-techno speed edits being called nightcore. I think the lack of an official statement by the original Nightcore group could be a factor of the tension in today's nightcore community regarding what can and can...

Speed Edits and "Fake Nightcore"
This seems to be a hot issue, not only on this site, but on Youtube, and possibly other sites as well. I'd thought I'd see how this topic would do in the Philosophy section of the forums. I know a lot of the higher-ups on the forum view the ideals of the original Nightcore group like it's the Bible,...

Yes, this is it. :) And yeah, it has been said multiple times that finding good "true" songs to nightcore is very hard, this is the main obstacle here in fact, to search deep in the webz, store, watevs so you can do a pure Nightcore song. I think i wrote some sites in the past in order to...
