Equalizer APO, fixing loudness problem plus a lot more

Post by HKO2006 » January 22nd, 2016, 7:39 pm

Equalizer APO
A system-wide equalizer for Windows 7 / 8 / 8.1 / 10
http://sourceforge.net/projects/equalizerapo/

For some time I have been listening to nightcore (especially maikel's and nightcoreuploadz's) with minimal YouTube and system volume. Now with peak -30 dB, I can finally listen to loud songs without constantly changing volume.

There are more functions but I don't use for now

So it's a compressor basically. The downside will be that it actually changes the properties of the songs. If one part is meant to be loud while another is supposed to be quiet, this will even them out. It won't preserve the relative volume within a track. At least that is my assumption.

Is it the same thing as a volume normalizer?
