Actually I think most of the music on the channel is a decent quality and not much different to a few other nightcore channels as some of them have that same sound quality on the videos but i agree the images are not too good and i just wanted to share my channel images can be improved in my opinion but i can't agree all the sound quality is bad. I know nightcore is about trance and techno but i think if anyone wants to make a song that isnt that genre then its fine

I will have a look at audacity I have been using wavepad for most of my nightcore so far. I have made another nightcore and I think the picture quality is better in this one

Audio quality can be better, the ones I checked were all in 128-ish kbps (youtube maximum is 256kbps), and for a decent image quality I'd recommend rendering at 720p, and also that you crop your image :) It looks nicer without black bars around it.

WavePad works just fine if you want to keep using it, Audacity is simply good for checking the quality of music when you can't tell by ear.

Thanks but i'm just wondering how do I know the song is in 256kbps or not?

Audacity can show a spectrogram view of a song, which basically shows how intense all of the frequencies are. When the quality of the song is too low (below 192kbps), it will be visible in the spectrogram as the higher frequencies will be cut off.

Frequencies should reach all the way up to 22kHz, and a 128kbps mp3 is usually cut off at around 15-16kHz.

Telling the difference between 192kbps and higher is harder, I find it easier to do it by ear if I have two copies to compare.

I change the bitrate on one of the videos I have just uploaded using wavepad but I can't remember how I got the mp3 encoder option so one of my videos has a higher audio quality now I just can't remember how I changed it! :(

Here's a version I did just now of the same song, can you hear the difference in clarity?

I couldn't find anything better than a ~160kbps mp3 of the song, so it's not perfect, but whatever.

I think it's most apparent if you switch back and forth between them around the 1 minute mark.

Btw, don't assume that the fault is with WavePad. I've found that it's actually more commonly either the source file or the video render settings.

It does sound slightly clearer to mine but I don't think there is a problem with wave pad and i have figured out how to change the bitrate now.
