I prefer digital. The resolution, depth, colours and all.

If you're going digital, then it might be a good thing getting a draw-pad :P

I can respond to this! Hurray!
I draw both digital and traditional. I find both are really fun. I like the look of traditional sketches but I love the look of digital colouring. It all depends on your preference. My tablet was $200. It is a Wacom Bamboo Fun. It came with one pen, some replacement nibs, and software [Photoshop Elements 6.0 and Corel Painter Essentials 4]. It is a medium sized tablet, about the size of a MacBook, but very much thinner.
Traditional is more difficult because if you make a mistake that is not erasable you can not press an undo button. Digital has a very different feel to it though, when you first try it your drawings may be a little rough. You should just keep drawing, it gets easier. Also try many different techniques and software to find what works for you.

I suggest Wacom tablets, they are great quality. Wacom Drawing Tablets range anywhere from $69 to $2000.
Look at their site for more information on different types of tablets. Wacom.com
Hope this helps. c:

I prefer digital, just because you can do so much more and with more ease if you know what your doing. Though I myself enjoy hand drawing on paper a little more because I can do it where ever. But that's only because I have yet to get a version of Photoshop on my laptop, like I did on my dated Windows XP which runs like a legless turtle T-T. I've been using Paint.NET though which is the next best thing.

But I do have a Tablet, which I believe I got for somewhere around $200 at best buy. Can't wait to get back to using it too =P

Manga Studio sounds nice. Drawing software might cost me a good lot since I'd go for PS.

Oh.. thought this was another thread.... ah well.
