How to put another picture on top of a another picture? ;__;
How to put another picture on top of a another picture? ;__;
Okay, I can't think of the right words to get want I want to know off google.
So I figured maybe my fellow NU-ers could help.
How'd you picture on another picture so it overlaps.
and not like this...

I want just the outline of the girl, not the white surrounding too, will someone please tell/show me how? :3

Re: How to put another picture on top of a another picture?
Depends on what program you're using if you have paint you can even do that by simply changing the img location, if you will... I got an illustration to show what I mean: (sorry for no directly shown image, but the forum is being gay with no img over 900 pix.)
http://i705.photobucket.com/albums/ww51 ... /stuff.jpg
NOTE: This will only work if the img has a WHITE background.. (like the one you have on that one) because this option cancels out white surfaces)
IF, however, you dont use paint, I am afraid you need to find somebody else for advise, because I only use paint... partially because I am too lazy to get a better program and because I have an unequalled patience for some things.

Re: How to put another picture on top of a another picture?
Well like...
On the first post, the bread girl is on top of the girl in black.
As you can see there is white around the girl (background)...
So... yeah I would please <3

Re: How to put another picture on top of a another picture?
Hmm.. did a little with this kind of problem.. here we go.
First make a copy of the original layer so you have something to work on. Make sure that the original layer is locked or unchecked so it wont be touched when you play around with the other layer.
Now select the "Rubber" tool, change the hardness and wideness on the brush so that it wont erase everything in one single swipe. I used the hardness 3% on a pic just now to test, but use the hardness you feel works best. Also the bigger size you use the less it removes around the edges of it, so that can help when you want a clean edge on things tho it can be hard to use ( my opinion )
This might take some time when you're ghonna remove the background. Since if you don't have a drawpad ( or what's it's called ) since you have to use the mouse to move the brush. But take it slow then it will work out just fine ^^
Sorry for no pictures to show, but I'm at school at the moment. I'll check in when I get home to double check this. Hope it helps and please correct me if I'm wrong at any point.

Re: How to put another picture on top of a another picture?
I increased the limit to 1000 x 1800 px, let me know if that isn't enough for what people would prefer.RedStar wrote:I got an illustration to show what I mean: (sorry for no directly shown image, but the forum is being gay with no img over 900 pix.)
Re: How to put another picture on top of a another picture?
theres a few ways, if the background is all one color and doesn't interfere with the image you want to keep, use the magic wand.
another way if there's a lot of background to the image use the pen tool and trace the image you want to cut out, once you have the whole thing right click and make selection. then you can copy/move whatever you want with it
and isn't this topic in the wrong place?

Re: How to put another picture on top of a another picture?
I didn't know where to put it :3
It's not exactly a showoff or tutorial because I'm not showing anything or teaching how to do something.
I'm "requesting" help <3

hmmm, guess your right there xD just seems out of place
Re: How to put another picture on top of a another picture?
Uhm to render images I used to use www.lunapic.com
and basically turn the background to a color that is not on the character (I usually used bright green) And theres an option where you can turn that color transparent.
Even through the site requires no download there are a few problems;
-the site makes your picture a bit less quality
-Sometimes the color right around the character is a TINY bit different, so then you'd have to draw on the neutral color (i.e. green)
But I now use PhotoFiltre which has free download, it's amazing and I use it for EVERYTHING.
You can carefully click your way around the character and you'd probably just cut or delete the background?~
