The movie hasn't been released here yet, but the acting looks bad.
Yeah, I watched all the episodes on Nickelodeon :3

I liked it too, it's different and has a different twist to it
than the usual storys based on the elements.

My favourite character's probably Katara.
The only one with any appeal.

I saw the series too. They were quite amusing to watch. I liked they way they could express subtle jokes etc.

As for the movie, I understand it is hard to fit in a story of something like 20 episodes in only 90 min, but still, it Sucked (capital S).
I am easily satisfied regarding action/scifi-movies, but this just didnt do it for me, I get more thrill from filming a gold fish.

But maybe that is the problem... I knew the actual story it was based on, making me able to spot all the differences. There was alot more to the series than the movie

They only did the first book for the movie...which made it super lame.

Well I'm sure that there's probably gonna be an Avatar two/three and four.
Theres too many episodes and too big of a storyline to cram into two/three hours

Your right, and I don't count it as anime. When I was growing up it wasn't played as an anime. It was played as a cartoon actually.
Hence why I can TECHNICALLY SAY, I still don't like anime. ._.

The pre-2013 community still amuses me to this day.

Haven't watched the anime but watched a fan made comedy cover, thought it was legit at first lol
