So, the tournament has started! Here is the current bracket:
(The Grey "Bye" players are basically nobodies who automatically lose the game, giving you a free win. They are necessary for bracket balance because there was an odd number of people who entered, and were automatically generated by the program I'm using. This might seem strange to you, but if you do the math, it's fair in the end.)Round 1:Maikel631

Winners will be underlined.
Remember that in double-elimination there is a winner's bracket and a loser's bracket. You must lose twice in order to be out of the competition, so if you don't win at first, don't abandon all hope.
The games should be played using Chess.com
or the Chess.com Facebook app.
Once you sign up, you can ask your opponent for their username and challenge them here using the usual game options.
If you have your opponent added on Facebook, you can also do this within the app.
You are given 3 days to make each move, but games should be completed as quickly as possible.
Once you've completed your game, one person must report the winner/loser by making a post in this topic. I'll decide how to handle discrepancies once they come up, if any.
Good luck to everyone, and if you have any questions feel free to ask.
