Copyright is awsome

Post by Grizz » October 19th, 2010, 2:33 pm

I`ve been uploading nightcore-videos to youtube for ca 1,5months now and I just got my second video deleted because of copyright.
i don`t really know what I should do now, as my account will get deleted with the third video.
Should I just continue uploading or should I make a new channel or something else?
What would you guys do?

Include a disclaimer stating that uplaoading music on youtube isn't prohibited as long as you don't give out download links, this sets you as non-responsible for anyone downloading your songs. Also, write down that you are willing to delete vids yourself instead of getting reported

Also, what kind of songs do you Nightcore?
If you're Nightcore'ing pop songs, justin boober, w/e, then stop doing that, cause that's what causing copyright claims.
You can't use famous/populair songs, which are heavily copyrighted. (dunno how to say it elseway)

Same with uploading trance. Some songs will only get an ad, some will get muted, sometimes after a while (like what happened to me),
they get deleted automaticly, which gets you a copyright claim.
I don't really go here anymore. If you wanna talk, catch me on Skype: maikel6311

Its helps alittle
But some copyrights just are pain in the butt
They will report sometimes for being too "popular" on ur channel
IDK if that sounded right, kinda hard to explain =.=

I think I just take a look if the song got any copyright issues on yt before that seems the most safe method

Many of the uploaders I've followed stop when they reach two strikes, and notify their subscribers of their second account.
