Hi! Welcome to NU.com!

Day After Day has been uploaded many times before, but at-least it's actually a nightcore song, unlike your Dangerous upload (I don't mean that offensively, it's just that on this forum we have a strict mindset to what nightcore actually is - that being a trance, techno, hands up, eurodance, hardcore song). The effects on Dangerous were pretty cool, but keep uploading the real stuff! :)

Have a listen to the nightcore radio station if you're unsure of what "true" nightcore sounds like: http://www.di.fm/nightcore

If you have any questions or what not, feel free to ask! We're a nice bunch, but we have a strict mindset as to what nightcore is. ^^

What Vitacx said.

Also, just wanted to let you know is that this strict mindset isn't meant to hurt or torture anyone. It's just that nightcore had a slightly different definition (in the past nightcore meant speedups of only techno/dance songs) in the past, and this forum's rules, principles, and images were founded on that definition. Thus, we prefer to keep that definition here.

First I want to say welcome to NU :D!
"I have come to your planet for much anime and very boobies. " hehe thats what I call a reason xD
I listened to your first 2 nightcore songs but as vitac said the 1st one is house? nightcore and the second one is a classic that every nightcore listener should know. So if you want your viewers to listen to your songs then you should search for a more unknown song or unnightcored song. I like your effects but focus more on the audio since this is the most important thing in a nightcore video. If you ask my opinion about effects I think they are just minor matter since you mostly hear only the music and look at the pic quick and then you listen to the song in the background. I dont know someone who watches a whole nightcore video (except if there is something to watch like AMV etc.). But if you like the effects just keep them this was just my personal opinion about it.

About song choice if you really want to find nightcore-able songs I would recommend you to search for songs from the eurotrance, eurodance, hands up range. This album is one of the 5 albums by the original nightcore group. They only nightcored songs from the genres I mentioned. But still if you ask me the songs they nightcored sound pretty unique if they are really from the eurotrance/eurodance/hands up genre. Could also be that this was a trance and dance music style in 2003???

Well anyways with the genres Ive mentioned you can try to find similar sounding songs like they did ^^

If you want to know anything else feel free to ask me or other members of this community. I subbed to your channel lets see how it will become :)

Wow!
I really appreciate the responses.

Thank you all for being so helpful and nice. I will make sure I do my homework before I pick just any song.

Other than song choices and such, is there anything recommended to do for more views? Not to sound greedy, but I want my work to be seen is all... (⊙﹏⊙✿)

Mixes usually help, but the main thing that seems to work is by choosing half naked ecchi pictures for your songs, lol.

From my experience, these are (some of) the things that rake in views:
  1. Ecchi images - The dirtier the better, as long as YouTube won't remove your video because of pornography.
  2. Mixes - They appeal to the casual listener who just wants something in their ears while doing something else.
  3. Popular songs/artists - Of course most popular music today are in the wrong genre for Nightcore, but if you can find one that works, use it. If you can't find one, try looking for a remix instead.
  4. Interesting songs - A song that sounds just like any other can be great, but it's most likely not going to draw much attention or make people subscribe to you. Unique ones are what makes people notice you.
  5. Find a niche - Competing in views with existing channels can be hard, so you might want to find a way to differentiate yourself from the crowd, do something to stand out.
  6. Use a schedule - And stick to it. It can be once a day, once a week, a bunch every Friday, etc. Find what works for you and keep doing it. This doesn't mean that you have to follow your schedule exactly, only that you shouldn't be doing like one video, wait a few days, three videos, wait a month, ten videos, etc. Also keep in mind that you have the option to upload in bulk and then spread out when your videos get published, if that's your thing.
  7. Less videos = more views per subscriber - Uploading rarely doesn't mean that you'll get more total views, but it usually means that more of your subscribers will watch each of your videos. On the other hand, if you upload really frequently, then many of your subscribers won't bother watching some of your videos because it will be too much at once, but you will get more views from people who aren't your subscribers simply because you'll have more videos out there. Decide what's more valuable to you, subscriber views or just any views.
  8. The description isn't your blog - I see a lot of people make this mistake (myself included), and it usually doesn't end well. It's good to be a little personal in your description and communicate with your viewers, but keep in mind that in 99% of cases, your viewers clicked on your video because they were interested in the music, not in you as a person and how great you did on your recent math exam. If you want to write about something, write something related to the song, your channel, or at least music in general.
Some of these are more for getting subscribers than for getting views, but I think you'll find that subscribers (and likes) really are more valuable and appreciable than views.

9. Cooperation Me for example I did a 2vs2 Mix with NightcoreLounge,emilemil1 and StefanGhost and since this is something like a promotion for your own channel aswell, Cooperation with other channels can be a good idea to get more viewers and subcribers because the subscribers of your partner/s could eventually have a look on your channel aswell. The other way around your subscribers can also find your partners channels in this example NightcoreLounge,emilemil1 and StefanGhost so they get more views and subs than usual aswell ^^

And since a 2vs2 Mix is kinda an unique idea in the nightcore scene it also applies to point 5. of emils list.

Just be creative and try to apply our tipps to your own channel and you may get more subscribers soon aswell! :)

So, I really am new at this... I already have a copyright strike on my Youtube account. It wasn't for a nightcore video, but I had a question relating to this issue. What is considered fair use in the nightcore community as far as songs go? I did use a remixed version of a song for the video that was deleted without asking permission first from the creator. I thought it was okay because 1) I wasn't monetizing any of my vids and 2) someone else with 10k views on theirs made a non-profit fan-made video of the same thing with a different picture.... So, like what gives? Do I just need to stick with nightcore? I am so confuzzled.

All Nightcore infringes on copyright, period. Though 99% of songs are in fact fine to upload, the labels/artists won't attempt to strike you for them (though they may put ads/restrictions on your videos), so just keep an eye out for signs of when to stay away. A good way to do this is to search for the original song and see if anyone has uploaded it before. If someone has, then you probably won't get in trouble for uploading a Nightcore version.

Also, as a rule of thumb you can expect to almost never get in trouble for uploading free tracks, only for tracks that are being sold.

What I like to do is search up the original song on Youtube. If there are a lot of results (like 100,000 or over), then I think it's usually safe to upload. I've never gotten a copyright strike by doing this.

I believe you only get copyright strikes if an actual human finds your video. I like to think that with so many results, my video will just blend in with the crowd. If copyright holders are targeting specific uploaders (as mentioned in this post), then I'm sure no copyright holder would want to sift through thousands of results just to take down one video. It would be like finding a needle in a haystack.

Most labels use bots to search for keywords such as artist names, song titles, etc.
