Nightcore Universe

A Google spreadsheet to record (as many as possible) nightcore songs and channels on YouTube. A reference for everyone, easier to find nightcore channels beside Maikel631 (and dig out the good old nightcore channels), and for faster filter non-nightcore channels.

1. Nightcore channels are channels dedicated to upload nightcore.
2. Mixed channels are channels upload some nightcore some non-nightcore.
3. Not sure channels are channels I haven't checked yet, welcome to give me channels that are not on the list.
4. Pop, Rock, etc are channels upload speed edits of Pop, Rock, and other non nightcore compatible genre.

How I decide whether it is a nightcore channel
I listen to their latest 10 uploads labelled with Nightcore in the title, then mark non nightcore compatible genre count in notes (if any). Click the actual % for more detailed info (detailed info only available for few channels).

The % is the ratio of real nightcore in the channels, 80% means 80% of the videos with nigthcore in the titles are actual nightcore not speed edits of Pop, Rock, etc.

Tips: Press CTRL+H to search the whole spreadsheet.

Yup, just give me the channel names/IDs when you find potential nightcore channels like the two I just added. If they are in the list already but not evaluated yet, you can ask me to evaluate them first. I want to include/support more small (and hopefully big) nightcore channels before they went inactive.

xMisterkinox (MK Nightcore) hid sub count, previously 1,970, I remember seeing some comments from xMisterkinox, seems to be withdrawing from the nightcore scene.

kyleaaron91, has 1,300 subs, taking MisakuAideki's place
NightcoreSlax gained 300 from 500 subs, taking Nightcorikall's place
Nightcorikall, 2 months without uploading (and the second last upload is 8 months ago)

Both are ok, you can edit yourself or tell me what to add, just the first one requires me know your google email so I can share the editorship with you

Ok do I have to create a g-mail account or can I use the google + thingy or my youtube account too?

Just the eamil you use to log in to google is enough, not necessary a gamil, I use hotmail to log in google.

not really a good idea to reveal your email in public, I highly recommend you edit it out (copied).

It is continuously being updated, the 'updated 2015/5/13' is just the last time the subs count in the NIghtcore channels sheet being updated.

moved CLuBLioN XNightcore to nightcore channel (from mixed channel, yes there are [rock night] but the idea is the channel mainly uploads hands up supplement with other genres, like ✡ ReinaXmina ✡, NOT hands up being a supplement . PLUS there is a [rock night] in title so I can easly avoid it)

A guide of how to edit the database, @transformer, @anderflox

Part 1. Adding a new channel
1a. Find the /user/ID
E.g. You are listening to one of Maikel6311's upload. If you click the channel name, you would be linked to the channel ID https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCL-ltQ ... yZyVz9EeoA
Old channels tend to have their usernames as their channel ID https://www.youtube.com/user/Maikel6311 (Channels now need 100/200 subs to make custom ID)
Some have a newer/fancier /c/ instead but funcitons the same way as /user/ https://www.youtube.com/c/maikel6311

1b. Search (Ctrl+H)
The ideal one is user ID and /c/, second choice is channel ID. Copy the user ID Maikel6311, switch back to the database tab, press Ctrl+H to search the whole database if the channel is already indexed. Not necessary to double check by searching the channel ID if you found nothing when searching user ID.

1c. Adding to the database
Copy the url and add /videos at the end like https://www.youtube.com/user/Maikel6311/videos. Consider there are near 1800 channels in Not Sure and mostly will never be checked, if you find a channel very likely to be a channel, put it under Nigthcore channels -> Pending. Otherwise, all in Not Sure.
Channel name, channel url, sub count, last upload date (active if last upload <3 months), put active and current date in Notes (column H), format 2016/5/16 (should have done this since the beginning)

Part 2. Sorting a channel
First update channel name, channel url, sub count, last upload date (active if last upload <3 months), put active and current date in Notes (column H), format 2016/5/16
2a. Listening trial
Listen to the 10 most recent uploads with Nightcore in title, then mark not nightcore count in notes. I sometimes listen up to few dozens of songs to have a more accurate %, click the actual % for more detailed info (only available for few channels).
Some hardstyle are acceptable if you believe it would be a hands up track if the hardstyle kicks are replaced with hands up kicks. Same applies to house but with extra caution.

To be in Nightcore channels
A channel dedicated to nigthcore (with optional uploads that are not nightcore), 70%/80% uploads are nightcore. A plus if there is genre in title if uploads are not nightcore.

Mixed channels
40%/50 to 70% are nightcore. If it is mixed (and I still have faith), I would also listen to the oldest and most viewed ones to see what they started with and what they are known for. However the most recent uploads are still the main consideration as it is a preview of what subscribers will be getting into.

Pop, Rock, etc
<30%/40% are nightcore, either a channel with 1 or 2 nightcore among 10 other that are not nightcore (the nightcore uploads are usually reuploading old nightcore songs), or uploading pop, rock, etc all the way.

2b. Other info/channels
Check About page, check Channels page, add any new channels found
