Producing hands-up

Post by Nightcore4eva » March 17th, 2016, 2:45 am

Hi guys,

I've decided to start producing hands-up techno and need some advice. Watched heaps of tutorials but it seems like I'm going nowhere :P I was wondering if anyone could give me some basic advice? I.e how often should the main hook be repeated, etc. Thanks!

Fl studio is I think best to start with. Its hard to find a real tutorial. most of them are showing how they creating a melody. But its nice way to get little idea. Best way to create melody is use chords. I learned most chords from playing piano.
Just listen if you dont listen you dont feel if you dont feel you not
enjoy anyways i dont know why i write it. ^_^

I have FL Studio 12- if you don't have it, you should get it, it's great! I've come up with some melodies which are pretty ok, it's just the effects which are hindering me :P Do you have any hands up I can listen to? :)

Z3ta is brilliant- making your own sounds and so on. How long have you been producing for, and which program do you use?
